About The Priory

In 1820 a sea captain returned to England to retire and set about building a home for himself. The unique aspect of The Priory is that, when designing it, he chose to have a tower incorporated based on a scaled down version of those at Windsor Castle, from the top of which he could have views across the Thames to its 'big brother'.

The refurbishment and new works to The Priory have taken this into account by maintaining and enhancing this folly, whilst bringing it into the 21st century. The tower provides wonderful views and offers invaluable corporate / marketing opportunities including raising the flag.
